The mainstream media has been running a massive propaganda campaign to assure concerned voters that Planned Parenthood’s primary mission is to provide better access to healthcare, particularly for women. Now, the president of the nation’s largest abortion provider has been forced to reconcile with Planned Parenthood’s ugly truth: Providing abortions to women is their ultimate goal — not health care, and certainly not prenatal care.
Liberal politicians and media pundits alike have chastised many conservatives for their pro-life stance, claiming that any restrictions on Planned Parenthood are the deliberate efforts of “the patriarchy,” bent on “punishing” women by reducing their access to “healthcare.” Who are the conspiracy theorists again?
While it is true that you can get various forms of birth control, pap smears and STI testing done at Planned Parenthood, these are not their primary goals, and only make up a tiny fraction of the business they do. The rest of the time, they’re killing babies.
A recently published Buzzfeed article took note of Planned Parenthood President Leanna Wen’s “vision” for the company, and described her focus on “non-abortion healthcare.” In response, Wen claimed over Twitter that the article “misconstrued” the true mission of Planned Parenthood.
I am always happy to do interviews, but these headlines completely misconstrue my vision for Planned Parenthood. https://t.co/Bt06dpUoqZ

First, our core mission is providing, protecting and expanding access to abortion and reproductive health care. We will never back down from that fight – it’s a fundamental human right and women’s lives are at stake.

Wen contends further that abortion, and anything associated with it, is Planned Parenthood’s “core mission.” She asserts that abortion is a “fundamental human right,” and that “women’s lives are at stake.”
Pro-abortionists love to point to maternal death rates as a “reason” to abort. Yet, they refuse to acknowledge the number of children harmed by vaccines every year, and claim that those young lives lost or ruined are for the “greater good.” And if you dare point out their callous disregard for all those lives that will never be, you’ll be labeled a woman-hating misogynist or worse.
Wen says that abortion is the company’s primary focus, and there’s no doubt that’s true — but that is not the Planned Parenthood she’s been presenting to the media lately. Writing for Townhall, Lauretta Brown reports that Wen didn’t even use the word “abortion” in most of her interviews, after taking on her new role as president.
“She has also repeatedly insisted that the focus of the group is healthcare, not politics,” Brown contends.
As Wen herself told Buzzfeed: “People aren’t coming to Planned Parenthood to make a political statement. They’re coming because they need their vaccinations. They need their well woman exams. They’re getting HIV tests.”
Pushing the narrative that Planned Parenthood is a “healthcare provider” is just one arm of the pro-abortion propaganda charade. There is also a massive campaign to create an image of abortion as being the cool, trendy cause that young people support. But as recent polling data shows, most millennials do not agree with the Democratic party’s stance on abortion.
In fact, 70 percent of millennials support abortion restrictions of some kind — with 42 percent being against abortion on the whole. Another 28 percent also support abortion-limiting policies, like opposing tax-payer funding of abortions. Only seven percent of millennials share the Democratic party’s pro-abortion talking points. Despite the media’s attempts at foolery, the truth always comes out.
